INDIVIDUAL CONSTRAINTS

Individual constraints are divided into 2 distinct areas of development: Structural and functional.

Structural constraints focus on the development of the student genetically.  The height of the student, the weight of the student, the strength of the student and other physical attributes are covered under this constraint.  Many times environmental and task adjustments are made due to the structural needs of the student.

Functional constraints focus on the functional abilities of the student.  These might include memory,  skill level or other performance characteristics that come from the student.

SMALL GROUPS/SMALL GAMES

Small group games and activities help to get your students more touches and more active.  Younger students have a shorter attention span and need to be involved in activities that are exciting, enriching, and inviting.  Keeping the groups and games small help to keep students involved, keep the class moving, and keep the students on task.
